I have lived in North Carolina since 1995. I obtained my BS in Human Resources from Concordia University in Ann Arbor, Michigan and my MS in Health Promotion from Nebraska Methodist College in Omaha, Nebraska. I was a collegiate athlete and love all types of sports. My career has spanned the healthcare field for over 25 years in fitness, wellness, health coaching, and health promotion. I love helping others become their best selves.

Caitlin Ewald

I am a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and completed my Master of Public Health degree at George Washington University. I found my passion for health education through my own type 1 diabetes diagnosis. Previously, I led health education and screening programs focused on helping patients manage their blood sugar, blood pressure, and BMI. I enjoy developing relationships with patients and supporting them overcoming large obstacles through small, tangible steps. Outside of work, I enjoy completing DIY projects and cheering on the Washington Nationals.

My career path has taking me from serving as a Refugee/Asylum officer that has interviewed vulnerable populations in need of protection to investigating allegations of abuse/neglect of children. However, my preferred passion is working with vulnerable populations in healthcare. I find tremendous satisfaction in making effective and positive impacts in the health outcomes of every individual that I am privileged to serve.
